Over the past forty two years Anchor Wetsuits has sponsored some major events, which including the following:

  • Bridge to Bridge Ski Race, Hawkesbury River, Sydney.
  • Victoria Water Ski Show Division – Moomba, Melbourne.
  • Seoul Olympics – Water Ski Show Division.
  • Opening Day Motor Yacht Club (Lindisfarne) for the past 10 years

Anchor Wetsuits donate gloves to RSPCA

June 2009 – Anchor Wetsuits donated a supply of neoprene gloves to the RSPCA in Hobart. The volunteers use them on cold mornings to keep their hands warm when they are hosing out the animal pens. They sent us this great photo of them working with the animals they look after.

Anchor Wetsuits donate a 7mm dive suit to The Steve Irwin crew

March 2009 – Ben and Ben from the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society visited us at Anchor looking for some Velcro. We donated the Velcro and threw in a 7mm Semi Dry Dive Suit to help the crew on the Steve Irwin with the work they do. They came in with this photo for us. In the background is the Steve Irwin and you can see the damage the boat incurred from the confrontation they had with Japanese whaling boats.

Dragons Abreast support women who have experienced breast cancer

Anchor Wetsuits have been involved for a number of years with ‘Dragons Abreast’ manufacturing custom made shorts and neoprene buoyancy vests for them in their pink and black colours at discounted prices. Dragons Abreast is a wonderful organization that gives hope, strength and companionship to women who have experienced breast cancer.

Anchor Wetsuits, supporting Third Place communities to help young people in Tasmania

Takeoff, an initiative of Third Place Communities

Takeoff is a surfing and mentoring project for disadvantaged young people in southern Tasmania. The project seeks to help young people gain a better takeoff in life. Anchor Wetsuits is supporting Third Place communities by providing wetsuits and repairs at no cost, to help support young people in Tasmania.
